Many Santa Cruz residents are not aware that Santa Cruz California conducted a lynching on the Water Street Bridge.

Irene O'Connell, a local Santa Cruz activist and staff member of Resource Center for Nonviolence, is interviewed by Ben Leonard, a then senior at Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough who is now attending Duke University.

His project exposes Santa Cruz racism past and present.
